Rank-Ups:
Recruits/Tykes:
- Cadet to Veteran: Must have competed in at least 4-5 raids or battles to be eligible for a rank-up. To obtain a rank-up, Cadets must spar with their Supervisor and abide to mercy rules. Once the spar has been declared over by either the Supervisor, Commander or General, the Cadet will receive the rank of Veteran.
- Trapper to Falconer: Must have been on at least 4 hunting patrols OR participated in 4 raids/battles to be eligible for a rank-up. To obtain the Falconer rank, Trappers will be assessed by the Supervisor on their hunting skills and ability to be aware of their surroundings. Once the Supervisor feels they are ready, Trappers will receive the rank of Falconer.
- Enchanter to Sorcerer: Must have had a role in healing members of the group after battles (preferably 5-6 battles) to be eligible for a rank-up. To obtain the Sorcerer rank, Enchanters must be capable of healing illnesses as well as battle wounds, both potentially fatal and nonfatal. They will be watched over by their Supervisor and will be given the rank of Sorcerer per Enchanter's request.
- Executioner to Punisher: Must have participated in at least 2-3 individual missions AND 2 battles or raids to be eligible for a rank-up. To obtain the Punisher rank, Executioners must spar with their Supervisor. For this particular rank, mercy rules do not play a role and will be stopped by the Commander or General alone. That being said, rank-ups for this can ONLY be done in the presence of the Commander or General. Once the spar has been stopped, Executioners receive the rank of Punisher.
- Sentry to Stonewall: Must have participated in 4-5 battles on the defensive front (Bonus if Sentries have guarded a Prisoner before). To receive the rank of Stonewall, Sentries must spar with their Supervisor, HOWEVER, they are not allowed to fight back. This spar will continue until the Sentry is no longer able to stand the wounds. If satisfied, the Supervisor will bestow the rank of Stonewall upon the Sentry.
- Surveyor to Seekers: Must have been on at least 5 border patrols to be eligible for a rank-up. To receive the Seeker rank, Surveyors must be able to scent out their fellow group members who have disguised their scent. Once all the members have been found, they will receive the rank of Seeker.
Recruits/Tykes:
- Tykes: When Tykes reach the age of 6 Months, they will be eligible for a rank. They will then be assigned a rank and a Supervisor. As a trainee, they will still hold the rank of Tyke until they receive the rank they've been training for.
- Recruits: Upon joining, Recruits will have to wait 2 days (IRL) after joining to receive a rank.
Receiving a Rank:
- Cadet, Sentry or Trapper: When Recruits and Tykes are ready to receive either of these ranks, they will spar with a higher ranking member of the rank they wish to receive (Recruit) or their Supervisor (Tykes). The spar requires that mercy rules be followed and at the end of the spar Recruits/Tykes will be given their rank.
- Enchanter: When Recruits and Tykes are ready to receive this rank, they will be tested on their ability to name herbs and their effect. They will then be expected to heal someone successfully after a spar, and then will be given their rank if they prevail.
- Executioner: To receive the rank of Executioner, Recruits and Tykes will have to abide by the "no mercy spar", and can therefore ONLY obtain this rank in the presence of the Commander or General so that they may call off the spar. They will be tested on their ability to try and end a fight as quickly as possible, as this is the assassin rank. Once the spar has been called, Recruits/Tykes will receive their rank.
- Seeker: When Recruits and Tykes are ready to receive this rank, they will be tested on their ability to scent and be aware of their surroundings. They will be tasked with finding one to two group members who have disguised their scent. Once they succeed, Recruits/Tykes will be given their rank.
